George Washington Jr.

George Washington Jr. is the self-proclaimed greatest Washington in Laredo history, the People’s Washington, a professional wrestling manager, and a larger-than-life Laredo personality. A man of many talents and even greater ambitions, he has built his reputation through his professional wrestling career, public appearances, civic ceremonies, and an ongoing campaign to secure his rightful place in American history.

Based in Laredo, Texas, a predominantly Hispanic city on the U.S.-Mexico border that has hosted the nation’s largest George Washington birthday celebration since 1898, his exploits have included recruiting and training professional wrestlers, becoming a luchador himself, participating in a fashion show, organizing a thumb wrestling competition, establishing himself as a social media influencer, receiving his own parade float in Laredo’s historic Washington’s Birthday Celebration Parade, and, most recently, receiving a Key to the City in San Antonio.

Above all, George Washington Jr. is a champion of the common man and a tireless opponent of societal elitism. He firmly believes that golf and brunch should be enjoyed by everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected members of exclusive country clubs. His mission is simple: to challenge the barriers of privilege and open the doors of the country club to all, regardless of wealth, status, or social standing. Huzzah!
